Washing powder post-tower processing plant

STPP Group provides a complete service package for washing powder post-tower processing plants. Our offer includes designing, establishing, technology transferring; followed by supplying of base powder, auxiliary chemicals, and packaging materials, rounded up by lifetime technical support.

Post-tower base powder processing: dosing, blending, and packaging

The detergent base powder is a lightweight, puffed powder dried from detergent slurry in a spray drying tower. This product is semi-finished, functional commercial synthetic detergent, ready for final customization. From base powder to the finished commercial washing powder, it only takes three steps: Dosing, Blending, and Packaging. These steps can be done in a plant fully independent from a spray drying plant, namely a Washing Powder Post-Tower Processing Plant.

Such a plant requires very limited funding (as low as 100,000.00 USD) and space (as small as 300 sqm) but can offer large output (1-10 Mt/ hour) and unparalleled flexibility. Post-tower processing plant can produce lightweight puffed washing powder and heavyweight concentrated washing powder, customizable for a variety of formulas and packaging.

STPP Group’s longstanding expertise in this field brings a set of advantages to every post-tower processing plant designed and established by our engineering team:

STPP Group’s subsidiary DAFA SOAP AND DETERGENT MANUFACTURING PLC in Ethiopia is a fully-functional, successful exemplary model of such kind of plants. Our prospective clients are most welcome to pay a visit and explore the entire process on-site.

Plant layout and production process

01

Raw material acquisition and storage

Raw materials required for post-tower processing plants are detergent base powder, auxiliary ingredients, and packaging materials. STPP Group offers one-stop supply solutions for all these materials, with well-designed packaging for adequate storage.

02

Base powder and auxiliary ingredients dosing

According to the designed final formula, detergent base powder and auxiliary ingredients (typically Colorful speckles, Perfume, STPP / 4A Zeolite, AEO-9, etc.) are measured and dosed individually by belt weighing scales. The dosing process is continuous and precisely controlled by a PLC system.

03

Blending

The detergent base powder and auxiliary ingredients are transported to a specially invented drum mixer for final blending, in order to obtain the final finished washing powder as a customized, functional formula.

04

Temporary storage and packaging

Blended washing powder is transported to the storage bins for temporary storage and then fed to the packing machines for final packaging. The outcome is a finished, branded commercial washing powder.

Alternatively, it’s also possible to have a simple packing line, in which case STPP Group supplies finished washing powder with complete formulated ingredients in bulk packing (25kg, 50kg, 500Kg, etc.). Raw material Dosing and Blending steps are not needed. The only thing to do on your site is to open the bulk packing washing powder and transport it to the packing machines for commercial repackaging.
